Base Burner

This stove here is a base burner. The reason they call them base burners is because it takes the smoke and recycles it down the back of the stove, under the bottom of the base and then back up the rear chamber.

It also has a circulator built into the back of the stove, taking the air from the floor, heating it and pumping it out of the top of the stove as warm air.

As you can see it has mice windows on all three sides of the stove. The mica windows in this stove are in a gothic design allowing an orange glow throughout the whole room.

It has nickel foot rails. It has a removable cook lid underneath here. It can burn wood or coal and burn for 8-10 hours and it can heat a medium-sized home.

This is a very beautiful stove. They come ins all sizes, from small to quite large. Some of them even have what they call piggy back ovens built into the rear of the stove so that you can heat food in them.
