The GM Iron Column Stove is one of the earliest column stoves ever manufactured, dating back to the early to mid 1800's. Understated in its design, the stove is an incredibly efficient heater. Loading doors are found on both sides of the stove - a very rare feature. Touches of relief work on the cast iron body display a picturesque woodland motif. A large hearth, removable cooklid, and a cleanout door are features that enhance the function and efficiency of this early American stove.
