The Early Franklin is one of the first heating stoves manufactured dating back to the Civil War era. This fireplace stove features gorgeous relief work, including pillars that flank the open hearth. Two decorative brassettes frame a cooklid at the top and two brass cameos are located below the brassettes; both sets give a pop of dazzle to this lovely antique. A smooth front hearth is a convenient area for starting and stoking a fire as well as cleaning out the ashes. To own this Franklin stove is to own a classic piece of history and a finely crafted work of art.
