Standing at close to four feet tall, the Open Franklin antique heating stove makes quite an impression. The casting style of the stove is Federal which was a popular motif back in the mid-1800's. The entire body of the stove is covered with gorgeous relief work, while the hearth and legs are smooth and sleek. The front of the stove is removable allowing for a full view of the fire. WIth the front piece in place, draft controls help regulate the heat output. A removable cooklid rests on top of the stove. The Open Franklin stove combines the best qualities of a Franklin Stove and a Four O'Clock stove while having a style and look that's both grand and distinctive.
