The Lady Washington is dressed to the hilt in lavish design. A classic from the Gilded Age, this antique heating stove is the perfect size to warm a cozy room. The front of the stove features a lovely design of an urn overflowing with flowers. Elaborate relief work decorates the top of the stove, the hearth and even the four legs. The name of the stove is inscribed on the top front of the stove along with the date, 1848. A cooklid is concealed under the lovely top and an ash removal plate can be found in the center of the hearth. This is a very precious stove.
